This role will see you ensuing the safe movement of buses and trucks around the yard, in addition to:Assisting the Workshop and Sales teams with vehicle licencing requirements.Minor mechanical jobs.Co-ordinating detailing & final vehicle preparations.Working within a team to ensure required movement targets are met.Local part runs when applicable.Movement of trucks to various suppliers.Occasional truck delivery to metro/regional customer sites.Assist workshop with basic road testing.Ad hoc duties as required.The Successful ApplicantTo be considered for this opportunity you must be able to demonstrate:Previous experience in a similar positionExperience with mechanical repairs would be advantageousMechanical interest and aptitudeCurrent & valid HR licenceForklift licence (highly desirable although not essential)Strong commitment for health and safety in the workplacePositive and proactive approach to your workThe ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlinesSelf-motivation and the ability to work autonomously with high attention to detail AUD Kewdale 6105

The Successful Applicant

To be considered for this opportunity you must be able to demonstrate:

  • Previous experience in a similar position
  • Experience with mechanical repairs would be advantageous
  • Mechanical interest and aptitude
  • Current & valid HR licence
  • Forklift licence (highly desirable although not essential)
  • Strong commitment for health and safety in the workplace
  • Positive and proactive approach to your work
  • The ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Self-motivation and the ability to work autonomously with high attention to detail
